Yes, that's right; I concentrated on a single image for a whole hour.

HOOHAH.

Original size, about an hour in Photoshop CS.

Turned out all right, and I say that because the picture deviated quite a lot from the image I had in mind. But really it's not a bad thing. I've been doing too much lowlight, Vasquez-thick lineart stuff lately - the abrupt switch to bright colours and an almost cartoony no-line style was kind of fun.

You can tell I lost interest eventually though, heh. The sky is pretty much blank colour [I never really got to it], and I left part of the riverbank unfinished because the look just wasn't working. Ah, well; someday I'll work out a good cell-shaded look for myself.

Jackalmask. I've accepted the fact that I can't draw anthros on a regular basis. So let's draw PEOPLE WITH ANIMAL MASKS, omg, genius.

Frenchy dragon. Ugly dragons speak French. French is draconic. I dunno.

I DON'T LIKE SPIDERS. So this is a mammal.

The aegis. Being all openCanvas'd. First ever oC, so kind of junky. But I'm addicted now. Improvement is inevitable.
